The purpose of the NotifyCarrierRoute is to enable an application to provide Carrier Route information from another business application module. The NotifyCarrierRoute is typiically provided in a publish/subscribe or broadcast environment. Where the sending system is the master application of the information being provided, where the information is sent to other business applications that need to know the information. This information is provided as information it is up to the receiving system to determine what to do with it.
