We recommend ASCII representations of data and this is the only format that CMLSpect implementers have to support, but we also allow for the carriage of JCAMP and other data (in ML wrappers such as AniML). All numeric data should carry units and dictionary references if possible to allow for semantic interoperability.</h:div>
